The health risks posed by the toxic chemicals often found in mainstream deodorants have long been discussed, and there have even been claims that they can cause cancer, Alzheimer’s disease and allergic reactions. Nasty ingredients commonly used in these products include aluminium, parabens, propylene glycol and talc.
Fortunately, however, the natural beauty industry has come to our armpits’ rescue with chemical-free versions. Noticeable body odour is arguably one of our biggest fears and something that can make us feel really self-conscious (not to mention sweat patches…). As a result, many have been sceptical about the efficacy of natural deodorants and reluctant to give them a go in case they end up stinking out the office. While these concerns may have been warranted when the first alternative products were launched, these days there’s really no reason not to make the switch. Trust us – we’ve tried and tested a lot of them!

This creamy roll-on deodorant feels most like the mainstream ones you’re probably used to buying but, thankfully, it won’t leave white marks or stain your clothes like some do. Non-oily and gentle on the skin, it contains sage and witchhazel essences which are both naturally bacteria-killing and the invigorating mint smell is the icing on the cake.
