Dr Barbara Kubicka explains body-shaping technology
At my skin clinic, we like to advocate a natural, non-surgical approach to looking good and improving the skin, ensuring that our treatments work in harmony with appropriate nutrition and lifestyle. It’s an integrated, holistic and more natural approach to aesthetic medicine.
However, that doesn’t mean that we should ignore the role that technology can play. The latest laser technology offers tremendous opportunity for patients who wish to tackle body shape and toning issues without any need for surgery or medication.
Three treatments in one with I-Lipo
I-Lipo is a laser liposuction or lipolysis machine which combines three complementary non-invasive technologies designed to stimulate the body’s own fat-busting and skin tightening mechanisms.
Dubbed the ‘non surgical alternative to liposuction’, this system is ideal for clients who are struggling with stubborn areas of fat or cellulite, despite taking care of their diet and having regular exercise. I-Lipo works alongside patients’ diets and workouts, troubleshooting the most troublesome areas to enhance their visible results.
In just one treatment session, the I-Lipo will deliver:
Low Level Laser – works to trigger a chemical signal in the fat cells, which breaks down stored fat
Infra-Red Vacuum Massage – works to reduce the appearance of bumpy cellulite for smoother, firmer skin
Radiofrequency Skin Tightening – promotes a smoother, firmer skin texture, tightening the skin and helping to create a leaner silhouette
The unique combination of technologies works on a number of levels. Body shaping is probably the most common reason for seeking treatment, attacking difficult areas such as the tummy/abdomen, thighs, ‘muffin top’, buttocks, upper arms or chin. Clients have seen a 24cm loss off the waistline in just 4 weeks.
Non-Invasive Laser Technology
In selecting laser lipolysis technology, I was keen to find something that would genuinely offer a less invasive, safer and more economical alternative to surgery. The appeal of this system is that it is designed to harness on the body’s own biological processes for a natural approach. The advanced technology works in a unique way to bio-stimulate the body’s own metabolism and fat-burning, offering visible results without pain or side-effects.
However, the inclusion of infra-red vacuum massage and skin tightening is important. Patients who lose weight can find that loose skin becomes a problem. The focus on skin improvement can help here, as well as improving cellulite and even stretch marks.
Who It’s For
At ClinicBe, many of my patients do work out and watch what they eat, yet they can still struggle with specific ‘problem areas’ on the body. This can be especially difficult after having children, which alters the body permanently for most women.
The fact that the I-Lipo laser lipo system combines additional technologies; tackling cellulite and skin condition as well as fatty deposits, gives a particularly smooth and toned result.
We are able to further enhance the treatment programme by utilising mesotherapy injections as part of the treatment programme for even better results.
